PTC Newsletter 26/04/21 | Annet Heitman

Our bi-monthly and slightly more informal way of keeping you abreast of all the goings on here at Phillips Trust. We’re entirely dedicated to the successful management of your trust, but we’re also real people who do fun things, support one another and try to give back. So, pop the kettle on, sit back and get ready to find out just what’s been happening over at 3 Exchange Quay.

A fresh face

We’re over the moon to announce that the talented Siri will be joining our team as a Data Analyst. Here’s what she had to say about her new role:

I’ve been treated so well by my colleagues who have given me a warm welcome. I love how challenging this job has been. Trust is such a complex field, where finance meets legal but the company provided me with so much knowledge and I worked with Richard Hey, a STEP qualified and FCA regulated head of trust compliance, who has 20 years of experience in banking and finance. I look forward to achieving the career of my dreams while being a better professional in my role!

Glad to hear it Siri, we know you’ll do just great here!

An office’s best friend…

Dogs bring so much warmth to a home, and the same is true of offices. That’s why our Fiona is thinking of getting a pooch of her own. And, to the delight of all of us here, she’s planning to bring it in every day to spread some extra joy. The question is, which breed should she go for? A feisty little terrier, or a big fluffy Labrador? If you know about dogs, get in touch and share some of your sage knowledge with Fiona. Who knows, she might even let you help name it!

A sad but smiley farewell.

As new faces join our team, it’s only natural that others will move on. We’re very sad to see Margaret Attoh and Richard Hey go and we wish them all the best in their new roles. So great were their achievements at Philips Trust, we honoured them with a socially-distanced leaving event where everyone dressed up in their best party clothes and gave the duo thoughtful gifts like candles, flowers, candy and of course, champagne!
